Let’s face it. Creating compelling messaging and clear copy is hard. And you don’t have the time to do it.

I can help.

I’m a freelance writer based in the Metro East / St. Louis region with experience covering local organizations, community initiatives, and institutional programs. As a journalism-trained storyteller, I help organizations connect with audiences through interviews, outreach messaging, and mission-focused content.

This is what I do:

  • Interview-driven storytelling
  • Nonprofit campaign messaging
  • Community and institutional communications
  • Feature writing and profiles

How can I help you with your communication needs?

Want to know a bit more about me?

I've put together a little Tanya trivia for you. That way, when we have our first conversation, you won’t feel like you’re talking to a stranger.

Fun Facts:

  • I'm pretty proud of my 450-plus day streak practicing Spanish with Duolingo. iEs emocionante!
  • The writing bug bit me in second grade when my teacher stappled my poem The Mouse in the House to the “spotlight” section of our classroom bulletin board.
  • Jaws, hands down, is my favorite movie.
  • Whenever I travel to a new place, I like to visit the library.
  • Food is my love language, so if you’re sick, just had a baby, or done me a solid – like the neighbor who removed the large pine limb that fell from my tree last winter – don’t be surprised if I'm bringing you dinner.
